Galaxy S6 battery draining and overheating

I have a Galaxy S6, in my office the internet connection is super unstable. My phone spends all day connecting and disconnecting from the internet. It also gets super hot (I'm not sure where to see how hot it actually is) a couple times I've been worried and just turned it off and rebooted it in safe mode. This works for safe mode but I eventually would like to use some other apps. Is there anything I can do other than turn my phone off during the time I'm at work?

If the problem doesn't appear in safe mode, it's being caused by some installed app. You'll have to turn them off one at a time, or disable them all and enable them one t a time, to determine which one is causing it.
