Galaxy Mega 2 G750A randomly turnng off and won't turn on

I have a Galaxy Mega 2 G750A that I just got about 2-3 months ago. Recently I have had a problem where my phone will turn off randomly. It wont turn on unless I take the battery out of the phone and put it back in. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.

If that doesn't work, boot into Safe Mode, to determine if the problem has to do with a 3rd party app that you installed. The steps for the S5 should work for the Mega 2: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10696
