    I've had the g3 for 5 months, and I realised it had a faulty screen. Then I emailed Amazon saying I had a faulty device. However, then they sent me an email saying that they issued a free replacement lg g3. Wth? I didn't even authorise it!
    Do you think I can email Amazon saying I want a moto x play in exchange for an lg g3? Thanks guys.

    First, please understand that people post here on their free time, not all posts can be answered within an hour.

    Second, your warranty is typically with the manufacturer, not with Amazon. Amazon may be working with the manufacturer on your behalf (as happens with Verizon in many cases), but they can't replace your phone with a different model, they will replace it with the same one as that is what the manufacturer will do. The LG G3 is over a year old at this point, they won't replace it with a brand new model from a different manufacturer.
