unfortunately messages has stopped

After i upgrade my samsung galaxy s4 to os lollipop my massage app (sms) is error i cant open the app. Everytime i open the app it says "unfortunately messages has stopped" and i cant recive/send massage. I have tried to clear cache and clear data but it doesnt work please help me.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, good practice after a system update.
If still no go, get back to us.

I did it and still says "unfortunately messages has stopped" any other suggestions ?
Will factory reset solve this problem ?

Before considering that, try Safe Mode, to test whether a third-party app is causing the trouble.
