Galaxy note 10.1 - 2012-- Link speed drops 150 to 13 mbps in two minutes

Using Netgear r-6300 in 800 sf apartment. . Signal strength at 60. , web response goes from immediate to locked. . Tried every software fix possile, This is not a software or wireless network issue guaranteed. . I've seen these postings over the past two years and still see them with the 2014 Note. Consistent link speed from 150 to 13 mbps in 2 minutes requiring shut down wifi and restart, then problem all over again. . Comcast blast service 150 mps. . Is there a fix? TOTALL FRUSTRATED....

Concentrate especially on the discussion about local wi-fi channel congestion--if there are a lot of wi-fi signals around you, you should try to adjust your router to use the least congested channel.
