Phone died with half charge now wont charge

I was listening to music my phone suddenly went to the White boot up screen minutes later made the boot up sound but was still stuck. Finally started up then told me there was a issue with the system iu and phone would have issues also the phone did a reboot and I lost all my settings. Later in the day i was using an app with no further issues then the phone died with half battery life. Phone won't turn on won't charge not even a charging light.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? It sounds like it had a major hardware failure, probably the motherboard. If the phone is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer. If it's older, then you'll have to decide if it's worth it to pay for a repair.
