dead phone, red flashing light

[AC Question]

I recently smashed the screen on my HTC Desire 610 and it has been completely drained of battery for a while. I got the screen fixed but now when I try and turn the phone on, nothing happens. The screen lights up a bit when I plug the charger in, and the LED light flashes red, but that is all. Help??

Hi, try charging the phone for a while without turning it on. See if that works?
