Hi I have a unique issue where I want to download just a old android firmware that I can put onto the SD card and apply the update in recovery mode. I wish to do it this way because I have a old phone ( Galaxy S2 SGH-I727R ) that I want to recover pictures from. The USB connector is broken so I can't plug it into a computer and I can't access the internet on it for some reason so my only way is to load a update via the SD card and I don't want to put a rom on there that will wipe the phone and I will lose all the pictures I just want to update it because I'm hoping that will fix the connectivity problems and allow me to use something like airdroid to get the pictures off. I've searched around a lot and all I find are roms that will completely replace the version of android I have on there now. And I figure that I should be able to download just a update from somewhere but I just can't find the right search term. The version of Android I have now is 2.3.5.

I would appreciate any help in pointing me in the right direction.
