Nexus 5 locked, LCD not working

Hi, my Nexus 5 is locked and the LCD is not working. Nothing comes up on the screen at all.
I have tried the software Mobile Go, but unfortunately I have not enabled the USB debug mode, which I do not know how to enable now.
Can someone please advice how can I get some of my data back.
