What does the lens symbol on pictures in my gallery do?

A

AC Question

The symbol is rainbow looking and like a lens aperture on an old camera in the lower left corner of the frame of some pictures. I don't know how it got there and can't seem to delete the pictures. How do I remove it so that I can delete some of my pictures?

Welcome to Android Central! Which device do you have? It sounds like the Picasa symbol, which means the photo is actually in your Google Photos cloud (Picasa was acquired by Google many years ago). The easiest way to delete those photos is either to use the Google Photos app, or go to your Google Photos website on your computer browser.
