I have a Galaxy S3 and its stuck in a boot loop. The only way is to reflash the firmware but I would like to do a full back up of the phone before I do so.
The problem is that I'm unable to get ADB to show the contents of folders. The most important is getting to DCIM to pull pictures but I get to the SdCard path then put in 'ls' to show its content and nothing comes up.
I can use ADB to perform a recovery boot so I know its working in command prompt but theres a missing link somewhere. I have also done the 'let me pick from a list' in drivers and not matter what I choose the same thing happens.
What do you think it could be? The fact that the device shows up when I put in 'adb devices' but I can't use the 'ls' command to display the internal memory storage doesn't make sense.
Any advice would be appreciated.
