When i plug my GALAXY S4 via USB to my PC on the phone it appears as connected as a media device, however the device does not appear on my PC. I really don't want to use a third party for file transfers as I would like to have the ability to connect to my PC for easy management of my files.
I can't seem to find a solution absolutely anywhere, there has got to be one...help.
I have done the following:
* latest Samsung driver installed on my PC
*windows updates are up to date
*changed my usb settings via developer options on phone, have usb debugging checked
* changed my usb settings via *#0808#
*using the cable that came with my phone
*download samsung kies but wouldn't recognize my phone from there either
any and all suggestions are welcomed, thanks!
