My Samsung S4 Mini won't switch on

[AC Question]

My phone ran out of battery yesterday, I charged it for an hour and a half when it was switched off. I then tired to switch the phone on, it wouldn't start. I took the battery out awaited a minute for 2 then turned the phone on while it was still charging. The phone did start however it showed that it was re-booting android. When I checked later the screen was blank and I can no longer turn it on even if I repeat the process of taking the battery out.
Any help would be much appreciated! The phone is 2 days out of the 2 year warranty/contract. I was happy with the phone so decided to go PAYG for a while!

Welcome to Android Central! Leave it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 4-6 hours undisturbed, then try to power on again. If it still doesn't power on, try a new or different battery.
