Why does my Note 3 have a echo only I can hear?

I was talking on my phone and after only about 10 mins on phone I start to hear my on voice and it escalates as I continue talking.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a case on? That can sometimes cause issues like this.

I had the echo for about a day and a half. I had my case for almost 3 months. Why act up now after having the case for awhile.

Any recent system updates? Have you asked your carrier about this?

It's still worth trying it without the case. Maybe some update is causing the issue, and the case might still be related.
