Notification vibrating nonstop following update

[AC Question]

I updated my AT&T Edge 6 this morning (Oct 27) and ever since it has been vibrating constantly every 2 minutes or so as if there is a notification but when I swipe down I have no new notification. This happens even though my phone is on mute and all vibration settings have been turned off . . . . Help please

Welcome to Android Central! Does that persist after an update? How about a cache partition wipe? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095

If wiping the cache doesn't help, do a full backup (Backing up an Android Device) and try a factory reset.

If that doesn't help, bring the phone to your nearest Device Support Center (ask at your local AT&T store) and see if they can reflash the update. (If not, they'll have to replace the phone. They broke it, so it's their problem.)
