I have all my music in the Google play cloud and saved some of it to my SD card. This started a few days ago and at first all my album covers showed up Blank and the app ran slow. Then in downloaded only mode none of my songs would show up it would say my library was empty. If I have songs in a queue in the app those will play and if I take it out of downloaded only mode it will show my library but say unable to play selected track. I can still access the songs on my SD card with other apps so I don't think it a problem with the SD card. It's like the play app isn't scanning my card for music. Is there a solution to this?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Music, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again, wait for it to sign in and the database to repopulate. Do you see the music now?
