Why is my phone not letting me receive/give calls or texts?

I have GCI and ever since a few days ago, my Samsung Galaxy S5 is not letting me send out calls or texts, or receive calls or texts. I've called GCI and they had said my cell phone should be just fine. Every time I try to make a call it says "Not registered on network" and it also says " Emergency calls only". I've tried turning it on and off, and restarting it, and leaving it off for a while and I tried everything I can and it still won't work. What can I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Call GCI again and ask for a replacement SIM card. Or swap the SIM to another phone and see if it works there (assuming that phone is also compatible with the network).
