Why my music suddenly skips?

Hello, I have been dealing with this problem since I bought the phone or few days later. My songs suddenly skip right in the middle of them. I listen to a song, with headphones plugged or not and the music player suddenly changes to the next song.
I have a 16GB memory card which I used previously for 2 years in my other phone. It might have viruses? What should I do? I have a Huawei p8lite
