Samsung Galaxy 6 edge can't receive text from iPhone5?

Hello, my husband has the galaxy 6 edge and I just switched from a note 3 to an iPhone5 and he can't receive texts from ONLY me! I've turned off iMessages because he also has an iPad. We've both called att to check our settings and both seem to be fine. I can text others and recieve other texts as can he. I can receive his texts but he can't recieve mine? Anyone had this issue before?

Welcome to Android Central! The issue is probably with his phone. If you have an iMessage account, and then you get an Android phone, messages sent to the Android phone via iMessage (i.e., from your iPhone) might not get through.
