What app(s) do I need on my LG h440n to mirror with a Samsung 6 series Smart TV?

I want to purchase a Samsung 6 series Smart TV and have asked Samsung if it will work with a Toshiba Skullcandy Chromebook! They referred me to Smart View, but the download was not compatible with Chrome os! So I want to know if mirroring will work with my lg440n Android phone and if so, what app(s) should I download to it to make it work? Also will I need Chromecast?

Welcome to Android Central! Get a Chromecast--you can mirror the Chromebook browser to the TV very easily. Various Chrome OS apps or websites also have direct compatibility with Chromecast, like YouTube, Google Play Music, etc. See here for more info: https://www.google.com/intl/en_us/chromecast/?utm_source=chromecast.com

Chromecast will also work well with the phone, but not all phones can mirror the screen. For those that can't mirror, you have to rely on apps that are Chromecast compatible (of which there are a growing number).
