Wifi problem on my Nexus 6p

I got my Nexus 6p a week ago. Wifi connecting fine in both my house and office, but not in free public wifi like Starbucks, hotels...It saying 'connected, no internet'. Please help

Having the same issue. No one seems to have a solution. Maybe time for another update, Google?

Once you connect to the Starbucks network, are you opening a browser and trying to access a web page? Typically they have an agreement you need to accept prior to getting internet access. Once you've done that your phone should then show internet access.
