Issue with adding a pic to a text message.

I open a message window, click on the paper clip, choose gallery to add a pic, when I select the pic my only option (in the upper right hand corner) is to send. There is no "done" option just to add the pic to the message and continue writing the message. It immediately sends. When I do it the other way around, meaning when I go to the gallery, select a pic, then select "messages", as soon as I enter the recipient it sends. Again, no "done" option. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I've heard of this issue before - what phone do you have? have you tried using 3rd party apps like Whatsapp / Hangouts to send the picture?
