My Galaxy S5 keyboard changed on me

When i was swiping a message my keyboard changed on me. it went from being big to a smaller keyboard and has a tab button underneath it that you can touch and move the keyboard around. I read on here that someone had a problem with their keyboard getting smaller and the fix was to hold the microphone button down and click on keyboard in the pop up box but that didn't work. How can i get my keyboard back to normal. I tried to take a screenshot of what it looks like but it won't let me.
