Samsung ZTE insufficient storage

We've deleted almost everything off the phone but it seems to be loaded. It worked fine with a lot more apps just a year ago. It keeps saying "insufficient storage" when we try to update or install apps. The sd card is empty too. We've already tried clearing cache and data in the google play store. What can we do?

Welcome to the forums.

Try a Cache Partition wipe. If no go, get back to us....there are other possible remedies that we could suggest.
