Welcome to Android Central! Open the Camera app, go to its settings, and look for an option to change the default save location for the photos--you can usually choose between Internal Storage and microSD card. Photos will save to the /DCIM/Camera directory on either location, and those photos are automatically added to the Gallery app's database. (The Gallery app isn't a location--it displays all images stored anywhere on the phone, as long as there isn't a file called ".nomedia" present in the directory.)

Welcome to Android Central! Use My Files or any 3rd party file manager app to move or copy the photo files to the SD card. Or connect the phone to your computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the photos to the SD card.
