Motorola Droid Turbo Icon Identification - Do not enter?

[AC Question]

My alarm didn't go off today, it says I 'missed' my alarm. I can't miss 10 mins of Taylor Swift blaring right by my head. Now there is an icon that is a circle w/ a line, like a do not enter sign... Are they connected? This has happened before and I can't for the life of me figure out what it's doing.. Last time I just restarted but I want to know what it is so I stop missing alarms!!! There's nowhere to upload a pic?! It's better to see since I can't explain it.. it's not where the apps are, it's where the Bluetooth/alarm/wifi stuff is..

This sounds like Do Not Disturb, and it's not set to ignore DnD for alarms.
