why is my volume so low

my ringer volume and media volume is very soft even at the highest setting

Hi, what phone do you have? if you have everything turned up as high as it goes and you still feel it isn't loud enough you should take it back to the place you bought it from encase there is an issue with it.

Do you have a case on the device? Some cases diminish the speaker volume and clarity.
