Can I use my unlocked galaxy s6 with straight talk? Thanks!

Phone was bought through Walmart. Com and I was told it would be fine to use with straight talk if you purchase the byop activation kit. Now straight talk says it needs to know if it is a gsm or cdma phone, how would i figure that out? Online it just keeps telling me the serial number is wrong. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Was it specifically intended for the Walmart Family Mobile plan, or did you buy it on Walmart.com from some 3rd party seller? What's the exact model number? Go to Settings>About Phone ​to see.
