Why does my Samsung galaxy s6 buzz even when there are no incoming messages, or notifications?

It might be the Smart Alert feature. Try turning it off (Settings/Motion and Gestures/Smart Alert).

Also...A lot of S6's suffer from a defective camera sensor. It causes phantom buzzing.
