LG PC Suite shows this msg upon connecting my LG G3 to my PC:

"Android 5.0 Lollipop guide
Date : 2014.11.27

For phone or tablet with Android 5.0 Lollipop or later,
phone or tablet will not back up or restore properly due to security on Android.
Refrain from use."

Notice the date of the msg. Has nothing been done to correct this? Is Android as an OS blocking this vital backup operation?

Even though I've used "Setting/General/Backup and Reset", is my backup now corrupted or otherwise useless?

I'll be astounded if LG hasn't corrected this in more than a year. Could that possibly be true?

Does it have a lg backup app? I know that my g4 did, and it backed up app data. It was on lollipop.
