why cant i hear anything from my Bluetooth?

I have a lg hbs 800. It has always worked just fine but ask if a sudden now it connects and I can see that it's connected on my phone and the headset vibrates to sheet me of the connection but I can't hear anything not even playing music on my phone will u hear it the the headset although the phone shows it's playing. What can I do?
