AC Question

My wife and I share an account. I have UDP, she has a 6 GB plan. I took advantage of the best buy upgrade method in summer of 2014. I never called to remove the switch order that gets placed on your account.

Now my wife is due for an upgrade and I'd like to get her an iphone 6s for Christmas. I tried ordering one earlier today through best buy but got an email saying there was an issue with my order and to call them. I immediately thought this was due to the "switch order" that was placed on my account from upgrading the UDP line and cancelled the order.

After digging further, I read that the switch order usually gets removed automatically after a few months. It's been over a year since I upgraded the UDP line so is it safe to assume it is gone? Also, I had a balance on my verizon bill that is due in a few weeks. I read that having a balance could cause an issue when ordering through best buy.

I paid the balance and tried to reorder the phone but now it is not available for shipping. Am I safe to order it and pick it up at the store? If the switch order is indeed gone from my account, it seems my UDP line is safe. Ordering my wife a phone should be able to occur like a normal phone upgrade and should not effect my UDP, correct?

The carrier is verizon. It's mentioned in op post. I would suggest calling verizon customer service and ask them that question. They have access to your account and would be able to see if any pending items might mess you up. Unfortunately the question is not something that we can probably answer here.
