Did you have them backed up to Google photos or drop box?

Well, if you factory reset it, you can't get your stuff back unless you have it backed up in a cloud. So, you'll have to get your stuff back by redownloading, or if it's a phone number, you have to ask theirs again.

They are waiting for you to reload them onto your phone from the backup you created before resetting or messing with a phone.

First, did you do a Factory Device Reset or did you just restart your device just to clarify things.

Now if you did do a FDR, we're you jot aware that sound so wipes all personal saved data? It should give you a warning before you are able to preform it, unless you do it via recovery mode?

How long ago did you wipe the device?

Did you have Google Photo app setup to backup your pictures? Maybe Google Drive, photobucket, or similar?
