Download question

On my galaxy s4, I tried to download a texting app from Google app store. Hit the install button then a dialog box immediately popped up. It said "congrats your app will install soon" and an OK button. This happend on another app I tried to install. I hit OK and waited 2 days and nothing happened. Checked my files it shows no downloads. Checked app manager among other buttons there is a force stop from the 1st app to download but nothing about the 2nd. Any ideas.

Welcome to Android Central! Were you using the Google Play Store website on your mobile browser? That kind of behavior sounds like the website, not the Play Store app (which is what you should be using).
