LG G4 will "save" music in Play Music but not to my music folder

I turned sync on, i went through all the settings on both my phone and Play Music, attempted to use the download button which sajs it saved the songs, but when I checked ny music folder, nothing. Any suggestions?

This is normal. The music is saved to your phone via the app and not as actual files (otherwise people could take them illegally). If it is music you bought / uploaded yourself you can get the music via a PC and put it on your phone.
