Why is my phone showing sim 2 removed after few hours at irregular intervals ?

I bought xiaomi mi4i a month back it's been since a week that it has started showing sim 2 removed at irregular intervals then I have to either switch aeroplane mode on/off out reboot which gets back the signals to sim2 slot . I even tried to observe closely as to which external activity Leeds to this notification but invain .. Don't know whether it's software or hardware issue .. And don't have an extra gadget for the buffer if I give it to service centre .. Can I have a middle way out ?

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you swap the SIM cards between the SIM1 and SIM2 slots, to see if the problem lies with the actual SIM card (vs the SIM reader)?
