I have an LG Escape 2 and need help with the Play Store

I go to the Play Store and search for apps to install on my LG Escape 2 and when I do that, I will type in 3 letters and it completely takes me out of the Play Store and takes me right back to my home screen. Does anyone have any advise as to what I need to do to correct this problem?

Go to the app in your settings and clear all data and try it again. If this doesn't work go back to the app in settings and uninstal updates and proceed back into they play store, into its settings and tap on build version it should now start downloading and installing the update (it won't tell you it is but it isdoing it).
