Why is my note 4 rebooting

I have a Samsung note 4 phone and it started rebooting on its own. As long as the charger is plugged in the phone works just fine as soon as you unplug it gets stuck in a rebooting loop. I have cleared the cache and reset the phone to factory but nothing has changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
