Very Techy Person Required!!

So I recently bought Samsung Galaxy a7 second hand in immaculate condition and I noticed when buying it that it was rooted. This not being a problem cause I've rooted nearly every phone I've had, but never samsung because of knox.

Question is how do I make sure I have the original firmware on the device and how to return phone to normal so it gets ota updates. The recovery also is using odin I believe.

I would assume you would need to have a copy of the original firmware (i guess you can get yours from Samobile) and flash it via Odin.

How do I know which one to choose

On the box my phone says Asian model, looking up the baseband version says Brazil. Guessing the person before flashed a random one. The phone is working and I'm getting 4G on every carrier in Ireland

Does it matter which firmware I flash?

Installed Samsung Kies and device came up with its current firmware numbers and the (xme) at the end. On Sammobile i found my device and filtered it for (xme) and it came up as Malaysia. Guessing this is the firmware i need to flash Firmware for Samsung SM-A700FD - SamMobile
