AC Question
I dropped my tracfone ZTE 665c Valet on the power button, breaking the internal button off from the motherboard. During my disassembly I didn't notice any easily accessible sim card. The phones issue is that it is in a powered off state and there is simply no way i can find to tell the phone to turn on. I happen to have another working ZTE Valet.
Is there some way I can pull the data off my damaged phone or trick it into turning on without the power button? I have data on the phone that I can not afford to lose. Im about to attempt to de-solder the buttons from the volume controls and try to solder one onto the power button spot on the motherboard, but id rather not accidentally overheat a component and fry the board.
Any suggestions? I cant find any information online aside from an unhelpful user manual.
