Help! Bought Unlocked Galaxy s 5 on Ebay but the phone is still locked to us cellular

Hi, I bought a Samsung galaxy s5 off of eBay and the phone was supposed to be unlocked, but when i received the phone it was still locked to us cellular. Is there any way i can unlock the phone so that i can use it on another carrier?

Not until that phone is paid off by the original owner. Then he can have US Cellular release the IMEI/ESN. Only way to use it right now would be to activate it on US Cellular....if they'll let you.

You need to contact the seller and get your money back. If he/she won't cooperate, then its probably a stolen device and you need to report them and file a claim.
