How do you set color organized folders individually wit Nova Launcher on a Galaxy S6?

A

AC Question

I own Galaxy S6 and have been doing a bit of customizing so I found a program called Nova and gave it a shot. On Nova Launcher you can change the color of the folders and their fonts. But my only option is to set the same colors to every folder created.

Is it possible to change the folders colors into individual styles?

Ex. Music = Blue Folder, Pictures = Green, Social Media = Red, etc etc.

Also is there a "create folder" shortcut by holding down the home screen like there was on the Galaxy S4?

Appreciate any advice offered. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! You're talking about the background of the folder contents when you open the folder, and not the color of the actual folder icon itself, right? I have Nova Launcher Prime (the paid version), and I don't see any way to customize an individual folder's background--it has to be for all folders.

There is no Create Folder shortcut when you long-press the homescreen. Folder creation is more like vanilla Android, where you drag one shortcut icon onto another to create a new folder.
