Why is my tablet saying unfortunately, launcher has stopped?

So I was playing a game on my phone and existed out of it when it said unfortunately, launcher has stopped. I thought OK its normal but so I hit ok . after that all my apps disappeared then reapered(refreshing ) and it said unfortunately, launcher has stopped. It keeps doing this. I can go to my settings and navigate to my apps but every time I go to my windows I see that vudu app has shown up! I don't have a Vudu acount and it keeps doing this it is really annoying please help!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like an app is causing the launcher installed to crash. If you don't recognize that Vudu app... I will download a virus scanner app and scan your phone for any virus or malware installed. Try also to remove it if you can manually.

Hi, try powering the phone up in safe mode. If the problem disappears then you know the issue is caused by a 3rd party app you've downloaded from the play store.
