I have a Samsung Note 3. Up until this recent Android update, I have had no problems playing videos. Now I'm having trouble playing this one particular .mp4. There is no video but it plays the audio. I have also noticed the time duration on it is messed up. For example, the video is an hour and a half, but the time where it starts is 13 hours and some odd minutes. I cannot skip ahead either; it always restarts back to the beginning if I try.
I have tried a few different things to try to solve the problem:
- tried another video player app, VLC
- went into developer mode and tried to change the media playback
- redownloaded video
Also, I had moved the video over to an SD card before it stopped working, and it also worked fine then on my laptop. Now, curiously, it too it does not work.
If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
