Google Play Services is using 75% of my battery on my LG G3. How do I fix?

I noticed my battery went from 100% to 0 in less than 3 hours. It is also taking forever to charge. I looked at my battery usage and it said google play services at 75%.

Welcome to Android Central! Does that persist after a reboot? I see that from time to time, and a reboot usually clears it up. It might also be related to Google Play Services auto-updating--have you seen any notifications that some Google app can't work because it requires Google Play Services to be installed?
