My s6 edge will only charge when connected to a computer or wirelessly

I have attempted multiple chargers car and wall on multiple sources of electricity, tried safe mode, and still my s6 edge will only charge when connected to a computer or wirelessly. This began very suddenly today after the car charger started going in and out of connectivity and then I tried plugging it in and it wont charge.
