Activating Nexus 6P on Verizon Prepaid

A

AC Question

I have previously activated a Nexus 6P for my GF on a Verizon Post paid plan and it was a very simple process. I just got my prepaid SIM and when trying to activate my Nexus 6P on the VZW network they said it can't be done due to it not being a Verizon device. To avoid a headache, I just activated the prepaid SIM using an old VZW device and it is working fine in my Nexus 6P. Just wondering if they'll cancel service if they detect the Nexus 6P or if I should be good, I figured all I needed was to get the SIM activated and I did it using an old device since their pre-paid system for whatever reason didn't like my unlocked 6P.

Thanks

It could be a glitch in their software but, ultimately, it's their decision whether to allow any particular device on their network. Even if you've activated a dozen 6Ps, they can refuse to activate a particular one. (And they're not required to give a reason. It's their network, so it's their decision.)
