Got this boost zte speed...have been having problems. Charger beeps on off rapidly and randomly. Think maybe Facebook was compromised, when I tried to sign in it said the app was already open(normally it would simply open the window if already signed in....also a metronome app would run on it's own. Battery life is lacking big time. Are these separate issues? Also, anyone have a link to a list of known viruses with affects? Thanks in advance

I would try to do a factory data reset and don't install any apps to see if you still have the same problem

you probably mean the battery icon in the notification bar?
The ZTE has 4.4.2 Kitkat on it, right? It is said that some major security things have been fixed with android 5.0 lollipop.
Could some issue, if the factory reset doesn't do you could try resetting/updating it with the pc software and a data cable
