WiFi disconnecting

On my new phone, the Innjoo Fire, running 4.4.2 the WiFi regularly disconnects if I have less than 3 bars. In WiFi settings it still shows 2-3 bars but says "Saved, secured with wpa" instead of "Connected". Any idea how to fix this?

This is what it should look like. Also notice that in the settings it says 3 bars but in the notifications it says 2.
