Sumsung Galaxy Edge Plus Custom binary Blocked by FRP

[AC Question]

HI all. I bought a Sumsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus today and only got to use it for a couple of hours. As soon as I put in the new sim the phone shut down and has a red message on top of the screen whenever I tey to switch it on. The message says
Custom Binary Blocked by FRP. What does this mean and how can it be fixed please. Thank you very much.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you buy the phone new or used? FRP means Factory Reset Protection, and is usually triggered when someone tries to factory reset a phone without first removing the previously linked Google account.
